Q. What is Mobile Check-in?
A. Mobile Check-in is a convenient way to check-in for your flight and avail a confirmed seat on your mobile phone.

Q. Is the service real-time?
A. Check-in on the Mobile is real-time and automated and uses the same Check-in and Reservation system as used by our staff across the counters.

Q. What are the pre-requisites for Mobile check-in on the mobile site?
A. The pre-requisites for Check-in on the mobile site are:
- Check-in on our mobile site is currently available only for our JetPrivilege members.
- You need to have a confirmed, valid eTicket.
- Check-in is available for flights departing from an airport where automated check-in is available.
- Check-in can be done anytime between 60 minutes and 48 hours prior to flight departure based on their tier.

Q. What are the timelines to check-in for a flight?
A. JetPrivilege members can check-in as per the following timelines:
For Premiere guests:
- All JetPrivilege Members - 48 hrs to 1 hour prior to departure.

For Economy guests:
- JetPrivilege Platinum Members - 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
- JetPrivilege Gold Members - 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
- JetPrivilege Silver Members - 24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
- JetPrivilege Blue Plus Members - 24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.
- JetPrivilege Blue Members - 12 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.

Q. Can I select a seat when I check-in on the mobile site?
A. JetPrivilege members can update their seat preference (aisle/window) in the JetPrivilege profile page on jetairways.com. Currently the system will assign the best seat available as per your seat preference. Incase, no preference is provided, the system will allocate a default seat as available. We will shortly offer you a facility to help you choose your seat and print your boarding pass.

Q. Are there specific seats assigned exclusive for Check-in on the mobile?
A. Any seat that is “available” in our check-in system will be assigned during Check-in. Emergency exit seats will however be “Unavailable” during Check-in through mobile phone, whether available or not. This is due to safety regulations by which the suitability of passengers on the Emergency exit seats must be ascertained while issuing the boarding pass.

Q. Can I make changes on the mobile after I have checked-in?
A. Currently, you would not be able to make changes i,e change seat or offload or make changes to your reservation. However, you can call our 24x7 call centre for the same.

Q. How can JetPrivilege members avail of the bonus 250 JPMiles on check-in?
A. On check-in, the bonus 250 JPMiles will be credited automatically if the JetPrivilege number was provided at the time of reservation.

Q. What happens if the E-ticket is booked through a Travel Agent?
A. In case your E-ticket is booked through travel agents, you would have to request the travel agent to provide you with a Jet Airways PNR. You could then check-in on the mobile using the Jet Airways PNR.

Q. Can I check-in for all fights and travel companions in my PNR ?
A. Check-in on the mobile is allowed only for the JetPrivilege member. You would be able to check-in for all flights in a single day and as per your tier. To check in for flights on the next day, you would need to submit your request again.

Q. Am I allowed to mobile check-in for my outbound and return flight at the same time?
A. Yes, provided your outbound and return flight is within 48 hrs of the flight departure based on your JetPrivilege tier as mentioned under "What are the timelines to check-in for a flight?"

Q. Am I allowed to check-in for onward flights with partner airlines?
A. No, mobile check-in is allowed only on Jet Airways flights.

Q. What do I do if I have check-in baggage after having checked in on the mobile site?
A. You can easily drop off your baggage at any counter at the airport.

Q. How early do I report at the airport after having checked on the mobile site?
A. After you have checked-in on the mobile, you would need to collect your boarding pass at the airport. Please collect your boarding pass no later than 40mins before flight departure to avoid your seat being released to other guests.

Q. What Photo identification is required at the airport?
A. The following photo identification is accepted at the airport- Official Government issued photo identification, Driving license, Election photo identification, Passport (for international passengers), and Photo credit card.

Q. What happens if I report after the check-in counter has been closed?
A. In the event a Check-in guest reports late, Jet Airways may have to reallocate their seat, which may result in missing the flight. Reservations are subject to cancellation if the guest is not on board the aircraft at least 25 minutes prior to departure. All existing no-show rules, terms & conditions, cancellation & baggage rules and allowances apply.

Q. Will I be charged for using the check-in service?
A. No, there is no charge for using our check-in service. You may however, be charged for the data usage as may be applicable.
